A shared language of learning...

For children to be successful learners, they need to understand that they are responsible for their own learning.  They need to see how they fit into the big picture - how their efforts during a lesson will make a difference.

To help them, we have developed a shared language to structure all of our lessons.  This shared language is displayed on posters in all classrooms and is used by all staff.

The shared language also covers the way we mark books, how we set targets and how we expect children to respond to these.
