Housebound Readers
All of us here at Kingsway are very proud of our Community School status and recognise that our community extends far beyond the school gates.
One of our community links is with Leamington Library and their Housebound Reader service.
Housebound Readers are valued members of the community who are unable to leave their home due to illness, immobility or disability.
Combined with the wonderful library service, Kingsway Community Primary School invites the local housebound readers to all our Keystage 2 performances.

As you will have seen from Performing Arts pages, the staff and children stage two productions a year: a musical at the end of the summer term and a Christmas concert at the end of the autumn term.
For each of these shows we put on an extra special performance for our Housebound Readers. Children from Year 6 are matched up with individual people from the Housebound Readers, then before the show the children make personalised cards and join the readers for tea and biscuits.
