We understand the frustration when expensive school-wear goes missing or gets damaged. To help us ensure items do not get lost, please:
- Name everything, even socks!
- Check your child’s clothes when they put them in the wash-basket – have they got the right names in?
Lost property in school is collected in the school reception area.
Sometimes children to messy activities in school – we recommend children have a (named) painting shirt in school to wear to protect their uniform. It is a good idea for this to be in school at all times because, whilst teachers would try to inform you if your child may need a painting shirt on a particular day, or plans can sometimes change at quite short notice.
Children complete PE lessons twice a week. PE is part of the national curriculum – all children should complete every lesson. If your child has a medical complaint, we will need a written letter advising us that they cannot take part in a particular lesson. You will be advised of the days your child has PE but it is a good idea for their PE kit to remain in school every day.
